Wower registred 09/05/2016 Popularty : 0 Krakow,Poland	Liban Quarry, or Kamieniołom Liban in Polish, is a place in Krakow that almost no tourist guides will take you to, it is a spot left unattended and is now overgrown with vegetation and the buildings are left to rust. Yet it is a spot of historic importance, and it hides a tragic story behind it. What was once a successful quarry in the 19th century turned between the years of 1942-1944 into a labor camp by the Nazi for around 800 Polish prisoners, where they were performed harsh forced labor.
